~Behind The Smile~
Understanding that change was also inevitable because people come and go just like seasons but with Natalie, you'll never see her complain because she knew then and even more now that everything happens for a reason, so she made a promise to herself to always keep a smile on her face even when inside she felt empty. In everyday life there are 1,440 minutes, which shows that she is where she should be, having multiple chances in a day to make a positive impact on the life God has chosen for her. While uncovering her true desires as an individual, her optimism had become the faith that would lead to her achievements and nothing could be done without hope and confidence.
Born with creative juices flowing through in her blood it was no surprise that she would soon spread her wings and fly to higher places where no man could take her. Born Natalie Carrizalez in Lubbock, Texas a small town country girl living in a place where everyone knew everyone, to some it would feel like your constantly surrounded by family. However, in reality, she never got the full experience before moving to San Antonio, Texas where a single mother raised her with two young women knowing she had to make a way out of no way. For Natalie that meant moving around a lot and attending 11 different schools. A lot like her mom having to be very transparent while change took place in their life only to have a better outcome which gave her purpose. She saw a warrior no matter how it may have seemed her mom was the best example that she needed growing up in those times because it gave her the powerful healing of prayer seeking God and trusting that this life would only be temporary.
During her childhood, she adjusted to change quickly and had no fear of what she didn’t know because it was the adventures of life that intrigued her most. Growing up for her was simple besides having her older sister around she was also accompanied by having many animals. From dogs, cats, and horses she was a lover of nature and the purity that came with it — living in an environment where having limited access to the outside world gave her time to procreate and refocus on what made her happy as her life continued to unfold. Finally, being able to be a kid fed her soul leaving her with the feeling of being free casually laying down and watching the stars as she dreamt of what she wanted her life to reflect. Which in those times it was challenging being bi-racial having to experience racism for the first time in her life while attending white and Hispanic school districts. For only the strong could survive a day in her shoes let alone feel the pressure of life that she encountered.
However, racism is never easy but the warrior in her being exposed to diversity as she grew up and learned to stand up for herself as well as for others who were affected by the harsh reality that others weren’t prepared to handle. She felt that it was only right for her to stand up for those experiencing the same treatment that she had received it mostly hurt her feelings and the only way for her to cope with the idea that she became a product of her environment she mostly would turn to write as an outlet to express her emotions. Although she was very vocal and still took a stand for her peers. It was gratifying for her because she saw how her influence to others helped open a lot of people's eyes to their stupidity helping them to see her as if they were looking into a mirror, in her words "How could you not like me and look just like me"?

"A Dove Doing What A Dove Does Best"
~Watching Mother Dove~
In school, she was looked upon as at as an advocate for fighting against bullying which she was respected for that even having unhealed scars in her own life that she had yet to face. Weathering the storm and taking things as they came she adjusted because she was a fighter and understood that being strong was the only option with God on her side. Late nights while looking at the stars made her want to get closer to her true identity and know exactly where she came from and the background she never knew. At the tender age of 8 years old she uncovered missing pieces in her life regarding her father learning that he was African American.
While learning from her mom that in those days it was hard also dealing with the police due to the race of her father but being able to understand why God has chosen to give her the gift to see all things that were laid out for her in this thing she called life whether she understood entirely or not. She always took God everywhere and knowing that with or without friends she didn't rely on having to establish friendships. There was no real connection that she could ever see as beneficial for her since she was never in one place long enough and her mom and God was all that was needed because life wouldn't stop due to those things that most feel are important, but she looked at it as life goes on. She has always been very approachable, very open and non-judgmental but always remembered as she left an imprint in everyone she has ever come in contact with even in the small times because of memories last a lifetime.
As time went on it made her appreciate the life she was living because she was built to be strong and with her mom being a significant influence it was just something about them that was very dominating. Regardless of there situation, it was always survival mode, and they figured out how to make it work and made it look effortless. Having a very free-spirited personality she was introverted when needed, and an extrovert as the two was like her alter ego. Being very conservative by watching her mom as she would describe " A freaking strong, beautiful woman. " Taking on roles that men could do and never had that experience and if she ever wanted or needed anything she had a fire lit inside of her that she would go after it for herself because it was God's plan. Singing was more of the first language to her than speaking her first words as a kid.
Which was noted at the age of one singing "Ooooo" shortly after she encountered her second language which was physically speaking she became very observant, honest and never losing her integrity by lying and always knowing to tell the truth and be honest with herself? She had to grow into her shoes and being who she is morals where more important than anything learning that God created her before her mom created her "A Dove the light of purity." She embraced all of this at a young age which set the bar high for her as an artist even at the young age of 8 years old which she was more advanced from anyone her age. She never has nor will she ever be average she was ok with things not always being ok and making the best going forward which some would say her soul has been of this earth before.

~ Searching For What's In Front Of You~
Natalie is a masterpiece of minimalism, tough to read and not very predictable but a mystery worth solving. Falling in love with music, songwriting, and singing was only half of the missing puzzle pieces she needed to complete while living out a legacy she didn't know existed. Until her frustration took a toll on her wanting to fill that void of her identity by searching for her biological father and writing music as a way to start her first conversation with him. Following the likes of one of her favorite movies " Glitter" she wanted to meet her father, more importantly, she needed to know where she came from not just some but all of her.
She began her search using all of her available resources but who knew that the yellow pages would be that yellow brick road that she needed to travel down to locate not just her father but also her grandmother finally. With no hesitation, she calls, and it was incredibly refreshing to hear the excitement in her estranged grandmother's voice it was like she was reborn again, whereas the stories that circulate where no longer a myth but Natalie Nichole Carrizalez truly existed. She received her confirmation while being only in the 3rd grade when she and her mother traveled to share the experience of revealing her true identity and being bold and strong enough to take those steps.
Their first reactions toward one another was more just a fairy tale she had dreamed of, but a reality that for the first time she could say was very real. Spending time with him helped her to understand both sides of the young woman she was growing to be made more sense to her, and it was apparent as to what she needed and wanted to accomplish. He wanted her in his life but soon after he disappeared again writing her a letter because words seemed easier to write to explain his reasons in which were unintentional, but for her, the new chapter in her life had just opened. Her writing turned into poetry that leads to her creating her first album called " The Difference." The hurt she endured was complicated because she didn't understand how you could have a child and still not try which was not only an eye opener but a WOW! moment.
At that age, she was feeling unloved but was soon reminded that some people are not built to be responsible or not taught how to love. Her medicine was her music; it was a texture she never felt before but a feeling no one not even she could resist. At 14 she has so many mixed emotions she didn't know if taking that risk again would be worth it, filled with anger and disappointment so did what she always knew to do was to pray and write music. She wrote a song dedicated to her father for the next time she'd see him because she knew that her story couldn't end like that. Now becoming a woman at 17 she sought out again to find him again google searching him not knowing if he would be there but just willing to take that risk and knock on the door once more but yet she was full of resentment.
However, once she arrived it lifted she felt like God spoke to her saying " You don't need to be mad or hurt" and out of nowhere it was gone she was free of the emotions she felt there was nothing left to hide. Perception always outweighed her reality and allowed her to find balance and accepting that it was ok to just be herself with a positive outlook on everything including how she looked at her father. His reaction to the song was genuine. He cried, and his words to his daughter were nothing to expect in his words "I wouldn't have wanted you to look for a father like me." It was that moment she realized they weren't as different as he thought they were very similar in the sense of how they used their minds.
After that, she realized he didn't know how to be present and accepted his fear of responsibility, compassion, and love because he didn't know how but she felt that it was fair to say he feared what he didn't know. She wrote a lot more after that with the feeling of now understanding who she is and where it came from and it wasn't going to hold her back as long as she could continue to sing. She wrote a song called 'Wild Fire" while experiencing in her adult life vulnerability, anxiety, depression, mood swings feeling like a baby all over again curled up into a ball stuck in her head at the same going to war with God. She was self-instructing her dreams while experiencing multiple battles at once, and that's why she had push and write wildfire because that was the only way to explain what she was feeling and she wouldn't be able to function until the song was completed and recorded.

~The War Room~
During the beginning of her discovering her craft and what type of artist she was going to be she was doing many souls searching because there where things in her past she needed to let go especially things that entered into her temple without her permission that would disturb any young woman's mind, body, soul, and spirit. She has had this battle with herself, knowing what type of person she was, and I quote " If I did this am I going to be able to stand up for what I knew to be true and that be enough." She created a war room that helped her mindset change while learning through meditation and prayer that she had the power to switch the gears and take back control of her life. Saying to herself," If I let go of all of the things that happened to me the bad and the ugly that if I let it go, it will not invalidate what happened but will make me more aware of what I did and learn to accept the things that I couldn't change. Also, no longer allowing my past to hold me hostage". Her body was and is her temple and now being able to address everything head on without disregarding any of her feelings she identified biblically as a Dove which showed her that the purity she has is still genuine and intact no matter what cards were laid out in front of her.
She started to live again writing music, short movies, mini tv shows, dancing and directing she branded herself as a multi-tasking hard working woman with one goal and that is to fight and work until people knew her name Natalie Nichole the artist. Once she discovered Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Brain Mcknight, BoyzIIMen, and Al Green, she made music fall in love with her voice the way she'd she and harmonize. All in which inspired her musically writing every day a gift she nurtures til this day, it simply because she creates her opportunities and there has never been a point where she has not had focus. In January 2016 she took a leap of faith along with the support of her mother and moved to Las Angels, CA to pursue her music career full time. With only one direction to go, and that was to the top but in her fairy tale it didn't look like a happy ending was coming anytime soon 9 months in California in September right before her birthday there was a detour again so she went right back in to survival mode because giving up was not up for discussion. She started doing uber driving while going to multiple auditions.
God gave her a promise that she was supposed to be in LA and she couldn't leave so she stayed and her with the help and support of mom they turned their car into a place to stay by night and their job by day because nothing was coming between what God had in store for the singer. She was homeless for almost a full year but soaring like a true dove in human form showing no stress but being at peace because this wasn't something new only a different destination because the goal was the same. She learned to be ok with being uncomfortable and she feels like everyone should carry this same mindset. Because when we are most uncomfortable is when the most amazing things happen, and situations don't just change but get even better.," You can't be mad if you have an outcome that you don't like there is nothing wrong with messing up who said that in life ever" -Natalie Nichole. On this new journey, she became a lover of self as if this was her living in her last days, but she was writing, singing, acting and dancing to her music while following the blueprint of her legacy.

~Gods Wind Beneath Her Wings~
During the time where she had nothing but God, her dream, and her mom their bond grew even strong because that same woman Natalie looked up to they where now doing it together not alone even the challenges they faced seemed more like an adventure than a struggle, and that's what helps build the character of a strong woman. Her sister never really understood music being a career but now she had more and more "WoW" moments though she would much so rather live a regular life for Natalie, this was the norm for her theatrical lifestyle. Her lifestyle choice during this journey was always something her mother accepted embracing her love interest but accepted that she was different, but that's what made there struggle a triumphant even with the difference in opinion without judgment and still none till this day.
While surviving LA and going on auditions, casting calls you name it, she started acting and making an appearance that some could only dream of called to read scripts for CGTV and ACME THEATER performing things weren't as bad as they could have been. Starting to see a future in acting a few CSUN California State University, Northridge students asked to conduct a documentary on Natalie, and it premiered in Beverlyhills at the WGA Theater which was nominated for the best documentary. which was a great opportunity for the students and the dove. In 2017 Natalie audition for Nick Cannon's #SIGNMETONCREDIBLE challenge through social media outlets such as Instagram, youtube, and twitter while still homeless and on the rise in Inglewood, CA. She took to Twitter and her heart sunk because she knew she wanted to get noticed and knew with all of her that it was designed for her and knowing that God gave her a purpose to submit her audition tape twice only using what she had at that moment which was her car and voice.
She managed to reach the top 4 and although it wasn't the fourth of July fireworks were going off not that she was surprised, but she was more grateful than anything. She was only 21 at the time when she won the contest Nick Cannon retweeted her content on January 15, 2017, and a week later called her while she was living her daily life and with every fiber of her being she knew that her life was about change and all her dream would become a reality. At that moment her mom and her share grateful tears now whether or not she'd want to relive those moments but every moment in her that is significant she feels God gave her the mind to remember it always.
She has always followed God's blueprints and has allowed herself to be a student and a vessel to being used. 2 Years later Signed sealed and delivered as a Ncredible artist, even after she was discovered living between regular life and star life, but no amount of money will ever change the way she interacts with her fans. Now she has her single out right now on all streaming Platforms "Simple" following the release of her Ep: Overdue which will be out later on this year which is highly anticipated for now 24-year Texas sweetheart. I know your probably wondering Why The Art Of Noise?her response was simple," First of all I liked the title, and when I did view it I felt like it was organically done and it didn’t look forced it looked real, and because it was real it made me want to be surveyed by The Art OF Noise." I saw a purpose that can become something of value. Automatically it holds its value on it on, but it’s just getting it out to others to see the value growth. I would like to be the first to welcome Ms. Natalie Nichole to The Art Of Noise Family.
