"Critical Lyricist Named Yasmene"
"The Camouflaged Cultivator"
An underrated artist with her own agenda capturing the world by storm lyrically having her form camouflaged with a musical quality that some would say only a male could portray. Her music is characterized by expressing spontaneous and direct feelings that where deeply rooted from her childhood to her adulthood gearing her to stardom not looking back but only pushing forward. To be on top of the rap game, providing unequaled wordplay, and ill skills that makes her music resurrect our ancestors in a way that politically corrects the illusion that society has built around the urban community, and using our history to distract us intellectually rather than to educate.
She has effortlessly created a platform where there are no boundaries she isn’t willing to cross using her dramatic yet epic poetic flow in every verse she writes no matter the beat, simply because music is in the body of her heart and soul. Turning her thoughts and feelings into musical history, each track tells a piece of her story bar by bar and line by line. Her goal is simple “To help cultivate and mentor the next wave of Hip-Hop,” instead of blending in with the new culture taking her voice to the next level because she believes that she has something to say not only to herself but also to the world as we know it to be today.
Born in Staten Island New York, and growing up in long island she was surrounded by legendary artist, so it’s not a surprise that music came second nature to her being that she had front row seats. She was very into LL Cool J and KRS1 growing up taking their style of rap and finding her place as a female Hip-Hop artist was only half the battle. Using music to advocate peace to defend the children of the next generation to keep them informed about life and how to see it versus how to live it. Only wanting her spirit clean, surroundings positive, and environment peaceful. She started rapping at the tender age of 8 years old listening to her favorite radio station “Hot 97” listening to any and everything but always playing the songs she’d heard over and over in her head to rapping each and every lyric to help her think about what she could say to make them better.

"Revolution In Her Blood"
She started out writing but with time she became more of a freestyler because she soon identified that she didn’t have the patience for rap. Not only that it was more to her than what met the eye she didn’t think she would do music forever because it was made out to believe that music was a man’s job and no woman would ever have the power in their voice to captivate others such as herself, and the fear of not being taken serious has a female lyricist. She thought she’d play basketball forever since there was always a hoop in her front yard even though there was always music in her house playing in the distance basketball always took precedence just like boxing because it was the only way she could secretly release her frustration and anger that was brewing inside of her during the earlier stages of becoming a woman.
Coming from a rough background growing up wasn’t easy as it seemed not having both parents under the same roof, and being the youngest by 9 and 15 years apart made being a kid impossible having to grow up without siblings of the same age had a huge impact on her feeling alone. Living in a household filled with animosity and resentment made it hard to focus constantly feeling like she was under attack and forced to go to war with the people she loved the most, and fighting battles that she knew was impossible to win gave her the strength that she never knew existed until being strong was her only option.
Being forced into religion blindsided to the life she wanted to live made her feel as though she was being silenced for who she is and who she would become. Accepting her background made her voice and opinions so much more important that she knew once she spoke people would not only listen but also understand where she was coming from, and where she was going. Headed toward a crossroad where she would be branching off to fulfill the emptiness and rage she held inside she created her first mixtape called “Russian Rulelet”, turning back to her paper and pen writing her very first song titled “Hold Myself Down” she then deemed herself as “Meek Mill” before there was a “Meek Mill” rapping her emotions dominantly hoping that yelling on a track would help to get her point across to any and everyone who would take a listen.
Hustling and becoming determined to be heard she went above and beyond no matter the punishment to create the images behind the music. From getting kicked out of class only to use the computers and printers to create what she knew would be record-breaking in her up and coming season. As a self made underground mogul. Copying over 200 handmade images of her CD covers to expose her individuality to her peers. The response she received was rewarding, she then knew that her words were empowering and she then believed that the revolution was in her blood.

"The Captivating Navy Soldier"
Entering into a path of life she did all the things her parents instilled in her during her earlier years. She enrolled in college wanting to become a better person and go into life being an even better woman realizing after graduating the system had failed yet again. With a degree and unable to find employment, with a clean record across the board she felt as if she was silenced yet again and forced back into a place that she outgrew. She felt consumed by the media while on the run from society she was then conflicted about how the African America race was being treated her only instinct was to self preserve. In 2015 she enlisted in the U.S Navy after witnessing multiple interactions with the young people in the community and how race was becoming more than just history because she was watching along with the world history repeat itself.
After leaving for the military she cried feeling guilty as if she had sold herself, standing side by side with people who didn’t look like her as well as people she knew didn’t like her even in uniform. During her deployment each and every morning there was someone black getting killed. Experiencing the “Death of Freddie Gray” was a very epic moment in her life , from being in the midst of the protest and watching how the entire situation evolved helped her to uncover and learn new things about herself. Alongside of the untimely situations which were completely out of her control yet again the system failed her, as she watched Trump win the presidential election and the people surrounding her celebrate for no reason she found a greater purpose. Instead of being angry she felt inspired to write and put some fire under her words to say what needed to be said in the love language she knew very well.
She finally understood what her purpose was and knowing that this would only be temporary and accepting that she didn’t belong, it was only a matter of time before her fearlessness got her into something that her mouth couldn’t get her out of. She saw this as a way to not come down on herself so much but as an opportunity to speak on her experience on the inside. Going down her rap history she wanted to acknowledge how many legendary artist who to served in the military icon’s just as Ludacris (Military), No Malice ( U.S Army), and Nate Dogg (Marine) and by knowing these three legends the sky is the limit. So piece by piece she stripped everything apart so that she could go beyond what she should even with her lyrics to capture her inner creativeness from being over analytical with almost too much to balance she evolved musically and now her life and music is like a movie and she is the main character rewriting history one song at a time.
She followed her gut taking risk is a part of the rebel within her so she took action to make sure she spoke for all people once and for all more importantly the kids. She built a studio in a noisy storage closet room destined to make her music credible on the navy base regardless of the consequences. She did the unthinkable fifteen workshops writing poetry based on what she seen, she was on her hustle and flow vibes because it was too much creativity to not capture it all. She wanted everyone to leave with something special on the ship, some of her hottest tracks she recorded with more than enough lines to make three or more songs.
Everyone wanted to work with her on the ship she knew she was turning nothing into something and she knew there was still time for a lifetime. October 2016 she went on a crazy writing spree and she said to herself “Fuck it’s on now”, and her mom’s never listened to her music to understand who she was becoming and on her own people she wouldn’t turn her back on them again. Even doing music on the ship she really didn’t like the spotlight but they couldn’t help but to love her music. People saw her as a rock with over 6000 crew members on the board she saw beauty in it, with her lyrical talent she was able to tap into somebody else’s mind and realized that when she became as powerful as her words she has now been able to captivate people physically, mentally and emotionally.
Her outlook on life was emerging although she isn’t religious her outlook is simple “Everyone picks a God whoever this being is she understood if you break it down the energy and power everyone gets a little and that’s her inner God”. She believes everyone has it, it just comes out in different forms just pure intellectual and rap is her greatest escape. The attention is too much which helped to redirect herself and she figured out how to pour out into her music and doesn’t care about the money and being popular her main focus is on the kids that’s up next and music is definitely a way to connect . She has a voice with a lesson and a blessing with reason simply because she is lyrical, powerful, black and gay. This whole experience is her doing exactly what she feels in her words, “When your name is Hottiemcth.ottie everything falls into place”.

"She Answered Opportunity"
Who is CLNY? She is The Competition VS. Men (B.O.B) Build over Bullshit that’s her motto and she is breaking barriers. She went from recording on the boat to filming her video’s as well and nothing was going to stop this rebel the female version of “TUPAC”. When opportunity knocks she answered her calling, receiving a Dm from every end of her social media platforms she was given an opportunity of a lifetime and knowing that staying humble it will make its own noise. In this case she was right she was headed to LA with nothing but one mission and that was to be heard with a perfect stranger with a friend to whom never showed but that didn’t stop her being a woman of her word from sleeping in her car with the videographer that wanted to shoot her video’s it was like a meet and greet of survival but it was all in God’s plan. When people show you who they really are she knew then more than ever she had to believe that.
Being in LA for the very time shooting five music videos all from a hope and a prayer. “Penny Royal” which went viral and everyone now truly knew who she was on the ship and off the ship, LORENBRIDGE, FLOWGODYAS, and KNOCKITOFF. She hit the goal, and there is still more to come because her art is different and so is her voice, in December 2017 she release another mixtape called “sheNICE”. Still sitting on music content that hasn’t been released yet I’d like to say she is sitting on her legacy, she is working on sheNICE2. The question was asked, “Would you rather be famous and not rich or rich and not famous”?
Her answer was simply, “Famous and not rich I never been a money driven person it’s always the influence to touch the masses”.
Even though she is a huge introvert she is very passionate about her craft and day by day learning to grow accustom to being more approachable and being supportive to others and there craft as well. Alongside of her many talents she created a clothing line unintentional with custom Tee-shirts, socks, shorts, bikini’s and more and this is just the beginning because her clothing line was random and that's when its most creative. Randomness equals success and she definitely is a success story waiting to happen. So I bet you guys are wondering why The Art Of Noise? In her words “Sometimes you have to do things that don’t make sense and don’t expect an outcome because decisions are made off vibes”.
